I got monetized in one week of my critical article on their monetization requirements

On Nov. 18 I wrote a critical article about how Newsbreak misled me with an email about their lowered monetization requirements. I was pissed and so I shot off that article.

I had written 19 articles and had 123 followers. But only 20 were “registered.”

What Happened Next

Nevertheless, I put my head to the task and wrote several more articles. I tried to pick areas that might have more appeal (more on this below).

One of these articles really took off. Then a second went through the roof with over 500K impressions and now has 29K page reads.

As a result, within one week, I was not only over the 100 registered follower criteria but I also got monetized.

I signed the document that got me monetized. Within 48 hours I was reading how my articles were making money.

Most of them now have either a 4.1 or 4.29 RPM rate and they are making money. You divide the page views by 1,000 and multiply it by the RPM rate to estimate how much each makes.

The article with over 29K page views article is forecast to make me over $118 this month alone. As a result, I have been able to…
