How Do I Know I Have a Gallbladder Problem
What is the gallbladder and what are the symptoms
The gallbladder is a small pear-shaped organ that sits just under the liver. The gallbladder stores bile, which is produced by the liver and helps in breaking down fats.
The symptoms of a problem with the gallbladder can vary depending on the severity of the issue. Some people may experience severe pain in their upper abdomen, nausea, and vomiting, fever, chills, and jaundice.
Symptoms of a Gallbladder Problem
The most common symptom of gallstones is pain in the upper right part of the abdomen. Sometimes this pain is felt as a constant dull ache or may be sharp and intense. The pain can radiate to the back or to the shoulder blades. It can also feel like it is coming from deep inside the chest.
