Don’t See the Aquaman Movie, but Do See Boys in the Boat

I go to a lot of movies, and lately, that includes ones that I might not really want to watch.

The reason is AMC Theatres recently sent me a gift Stubs A-List membership. It allows me to see 3 movies a week for free.

That is why I went to see Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.

I knew I probably wouldn’t like it, and that’s exactly what happened. But since the ticket was free, I went ahead.

How to Tell if a Movie Is Worth Seeing

Anyway, one simple way you can tell if a movie is worth seeing is to try and sign up for it at a busy time — like in the evening.

If there are lots of seats filled up, that means the movie is popular. If there aren’t, like the situation with the Aquaman film, stay away.

The opposite was the case when I signed up to see The Boys in The Boat.
